You can use the Attachments feature to add 6 common file types (photos, documents, etc.) to a shipment so that they form a permanent part of that shipment record. It’s also a good practice to attach customs documents for your international shipments here. If you have your customer setup to receive Advance Shipment Notification emails, then your attachments will also be attached to that message and your customer will see the attachments. The Shipping Instructions email that SMARTT sends to shippers of your inbound shipments will also have any attachments included as part of that message.
